TinyCAD is a program for drawing electrical circuit diagrams commonly known as schematic drawings. It supports standard and custom symbol libraries. It supports PCB layout programs with several netlist formats and can also produce SPICE simulation netlists. It is also frequently used to describe one-line diagrams, block diagrams, and presentation drawings.

What a crap!!! Using this crap for a few weeks now and if u desire a divorce, continue using this crap. I dont so I happy deleted it!!! It gives u so much frustation and stress. that it makes u a walking timebomb. The user interface really sucks!!! No logica behind! Using for instance the 10 symbol TWO TIMES ON THE TOOLBAR is just stupid. Even my son of 14 will never program like that. Thats really dumb to do similar that. Other issue is that u need to click many times with ur mouse to become things washed. Other solutions do it in 1-2 clicks while this crap needs iii-4 times. It delays ur designtime a lot and ur finger get hands tired. Take for instance the power symbol. U have to click on the GND symbol, select the arrow and rotate it! This should be bachelor with i click. Its used on each sheet!!! Aforementioned with placing a symbol, the text NEVER shows up where it ahould be. U need ALWAYS to correct the placing of the text of the function. Like the ID of an IC ever shows upwardly in forepart of a pivot in the manner. Or endeavor to copy and paste something. Thats really hell. First u select an surface area to copy, most of the times it will take hold of other parts in the area and unwilling moving them to screw upwardly ur design. And then u disengage information technology and attempt it again. Sometimes I had to effort iv times before the right area was selected. Or i had to zoom in able to select. Also zooming with the mouse doesnt work always. Accept tried on 3 laptopw with different mouses, all same problem. Then when u able to paste..... moat of the connections are asunder and parts are misplaced. U AGAIN busy with reconnecting and dragging text. Same when u update a component and supercede it. U can Non update all components in one case merely just by Canvas!!! What the.other reviewer wrote is right! So u accept to CHECK EACH COMPONENT or the text is still correct placed. Information technology volition bound around and probably u have to adapt EACH COMPONENT MANUALLY!!! As well the Name of the component is NOT UPDATED and u take to edit it again one by ane. One letter wrong and ur unsortable parts list get crazy. Make a lot of backups.of ur libraries equally files can go suddenly corrupt without a plausibe reason. Someone else mentioned the same problem. That people are positive about this crap is for me a phenomenon... perchance never used professional person cad programs or just tiny projects... THIS IS NOT A Elementary VERSION OF A CAD PROGRAM Only AN IDIOTIC VERSION!!!! There are much better free CAD versions out in that location who do all those basic CAD functions without whatever frustation.

Information technology's easy to use and simple. I've been able to create my ain library objects and update them as well. There are lots of duplications in the libraries. I'd like to see information technology handle "letter" documents better, obviously it'due south designed around A4. Objects that are not in "grid" sometimes seem to wander when reloaded so that the object and the wires don't align (Vacuum tubes and mainly transformers - for guitar amps).

I used TinyCAD for wiring diagrams for a kit car. It is an excellent software package. It was relatively easy to acquire and did a great chore. I dear this plan and my thanks go to the developers. I recently had a challenging issue later on a windows update. Any embedded images were not printing to PDF. Updating to the latest version of TinyCad has fixed that consequence. Thank you again.
